How it all began

This blog is a collaboration of travels between myself (Demetra) and my old roommate, Sarah.  Sarah and I met one another while studying abroad in London, we did not know each other and were randomly placed to live with one another for a period of 6 months.  We will each blog about places we have traveled, solo or with one another, foods we have eaten and sites we have seen.  And an occasional night where we may have had a bit too much to drink. A little over a year ago (One year and 2 months to be exact) we hopped on two separate planes, one out of Chicago O’Hare and the other out of Florida, landing us in Heathrow Airport – and the rest is history.  I had a bit too much to drink on the flight, which resulted in me being extremely hungover when I had to move into our room at the university of westminster on Marylebone.  I was really homesick at first but it didn’t take me long to realize why London really is the greatest city in the world.
