Even if this isn’t the case – for me I am deciding it is. I let myself become a little caught up and preoccupied in silly matters for the past month so I have decided I am giving myself a break during January. Winter sucks anyways. SO I will be sharing my 2019 Resolutions and hopefully sticking with them. Clearly some of them are travel related but the rest will be self-related. I am tired of always putting other people before myself so 2019 is going to be my selfish year where I am going to finally attempt to get all my shit together 🙂
- TRAVEL:
- LA – once again – in a few weeks (FEB 8)
- Colombia (March?)
- Greece (AUG 6-20)
- Portugal (sometime in August)
- Austria (August)
- New Orleans or Oregon (TBA)
- BOOKS:
- Once again I am going to attempt reading 25 books for leisure purposes outside of my books for my MA program
- So far I have finished The Stranger, I am currently reading YOU based on the Netflix series – I recommend it so far.
- Once again I am going to attempt reading 25 books for leisure purposes outside of my books for my MA program
- CAREER/FINANCIAL & SCHOOL:
- Actually do readings and apply myself in school instead of half-assing (oops)
- SAVE MONEY
- Near the summer apply to a new job
- Hopefully put my down payment on a condo this year!
- Stick with this blog and don’t procrastinate posts!
- SELF
- Decrease partying – still allow myself to go out and have fun – just don’t push it.
- Be more conscientious about what I eat.
- Focus on myself first.
- Try to allow myself to spend time “doing nothing” or enjoying a creative outlet – reminder to self: not everything I do needs to be for a “reason”
Any friends or readers feel free to share your resolutions, how you feel towards them, or if you have any input on mine? Last year my resolutions included reading 25 books, traveling to 2 new countries, getting back into college (Masters degree) and opening an IRA account… and I achieved all of them! 🙂 Hoping this year is the same. Love to all. x
